Building Permits
Tired of sitting in the building department all day? Wondering what your crews are doing? Really need to be working on the bid due at the end of the week? Peter Klein & Associates is here to help! We have obtained over 1300 permits over the past nine years all over San Diego County, as far north as Stockton & Lodi, and as far east as Bullhead City, AZ.
Construction permits, building permits, sign permits, remodeling permits, and tenant improvement(TI) permits are all projects we handle. Big projects or little projects, residential and commercial Peter Klein & Associates does them all!
Other Permits
Beyond the typical permits we also handle Variances, Conditional Use Permits, Comprehensive Sign Programs, Neighborhood Use Permits, and Liquor Licenses. Each has it own set of requirements which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Many of these permits require photographic surveys and Radius Maps and Public Notification Packages.
The Process
You can have the submittals delivered to us or we can pick them up from you. We'll fill out the applications. We'll walk the plans through the entire process from submittal to issuance. If there are corrections we will return the package to you. For minor items, and with your permission and direction, we will make the corresctions at the counter. After all reviews are complete and the permit has been issued, we will handle delivery of the permit and approved plans to you.
Please note that if the plans are 11 X 17, you can email them to us and we will print them for you. For projects that require public hearings we will attend these meetings with you or represent you.
